The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme focused on wild places. A number of the UK's National Parks partner with the award scheme to help encourage awareness and responsibility for the natural environment in a spirit of fun, adventure and exploration.
The award is an initiative of the John Muir Trust, a charity whose aim is to preserve wild land and wild places for the benefit of all. To that end, the award is open to people of all backgrounds. To learn more about the award scheme, visit the John Muir Award website.
